Dit najaar brengt MOMOYO een derde album uit. In de tussentijd komt de band met Mirror Session. In die akoestische live-EP herneemt momoyo drie nummers uit de voorbije albums momoyo en Gaps in time. Rauw en ongefilterd.

In een aansluitende reeks intieme trioshows brengt momoyo niet alleen uitgeklede versies van nummers uit het verleden, maar ook muziek uit het komende album. In de optredens keren ze terug naar de essentie van de muziek. Akoestisch, eerlijk en dicht bij het publiek.

Momoyo is de Gentse band rond Esther Coorevits (Jan Verstraeten, Tourist LeMC), Frie Mechele, Jonas Bruyneel (Philemon, Vincent Coomans), Renaud Debruyne (Mirek Coutigny, Mergel) en Sven Sabbe (Galine). Het vijftal verraste in 2020 met een debuut-ep die airplay kreeg op Radio 1 en Studio Brussel. In 2022 volgde het debuutalbum Gaps in time bij Starman Records en toerde momoyo door België, Nederland en het Verenigd Koninkrijk. momoyo ontving lovende pers in binnen- en buitenland en werd bijna anderhalf miljoen keer gestreamd.
